I gained a 1st class degree in theatre design from University of Central England in Birmingham, and have designed a wide range of productions for numerous companies throughout the country since 1985.

 

I have enjoyed a variety of work from the lavish restoration comedy, The Way of the World, large scale community projects, corporate designs and more recently several productions for LIVE Theatre Newcastle and imaginative abstract sets based on traditional fables for children at Northern Stage.

I have a passion for colour and texture and this is evident in my work whether it be a national tour, a piece of textile sculpture or a schools residency.

Having lived in Newcastle since 1993 I have sustained lasting relationships with many of the theatres and arts organisations in the region.
